Product Development and Safety Risk Assessment

DelphicHSE can advise you on avoiding risk

Does your company supply chemicals?

Whether you are a manufacturer, retailer or distributor, you must provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) describing how the chemicals should be handled.

MSDS are subject to REACH requirements.

Delphic HSE can produce MSDS in any one of 44 Languages with content specific to the market in which your goods are to be sold.

Delphic HSE can carry out risk assessment of your manufacturing activities and products to determine if your company complies with REACH and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) regulations.

Health, Safety and Environmental issues are an integral part of new product development. The right advice on HSE at an early stage in the development cycle can save time and costly reworking in the later stages.

Delphic HSE staff have been actively involved in the product development process since the early 1980s. In particular our staff have extensive experience in the following industries:

Risk assessment is key to ensuring that products can be used with safety and confidence by your customers and protects your business from expensive product recalls and customer complaints.

Delphic HSE has nearly 100 years of combined experience in cosmetic safety assessment. Cosmetic safety assessments in Europe are required by law. The regulations are being updated.

Our detailed assessments already meet the requirements of the proposed Cosmetic Product Regulation.

We can act as co-ordinator of the Technical Information File (TIF).

EU Toy regulations require that toys are safe both physically and toxicologically. EN-71 covers the testing of toys but is not wholly comprehensive. Only a limited number of ingredients, such as heavy metals and phthalates, are addressed by testing.

However, toy testing regulations are closely related to the EU Cosmetics Directives and rely on risk assessment to ensure safety in use.

Contact us for cosmetics safety, household products, and toy safety risk assessment. We also carry out product development advice for industrial products such as lubricant process materials.
