Toxicology Risk Reports
REACH is a risk-based regulation. The toxicological aspect of Risk Assessment is becoming more common in EU legislation. A UK Cosmetics Regulation has been published and EU regulations have been consistently codified. See the Consolidated version of Cosmetics Directive 76/768/EEC
All of the risk-based regulations place responsibility for risk assessment firmly on the producer. The assessment of risk requires knowledge and experience of assessing toxicological data and understanding of real life exposures.
Delphic HSE staff are highly qualified to carry out this work and have experience of risk assessment of the following product types :
- Cosmetics
- Oil Products and Lubricants
- Bulk Chemicals
- Household and Consumer Products
- Industrial formulations and products for industry.
To carry out these risk assessments effectively the assessor need to evaluate data on:
- Toxicological Findings
- Pathological Findings
- Mutagenicity/Carcinogenicity studies including in vivo and in vitro methods
- Teratogenicity/Reproduction Effects
- Environmental Effects
Delphic HSE consultants have worked on a variety of projects for major Blue Chip companies covering all of these aspects and continue to be involved in major research programmes for Industry Associations. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
