Profile: Johnny Yip

Johnny obtained his BSc degree in Food Science and Safety from The Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong and MSc degree in Food Safety and Toxicology from the University of Hong Kong. During his undergraduate studies, he worked in an agricultural company in mainland China as a research assistant in developing an environmentally-friendly and edible film coating for fruits. For his master’s degree, he has been focusing on the review of national and international regulations relating to the use of genetically modified food for human consumption.

Johnny is now working at Delphic HSE, assisting in toxicological risk assessment of consumer products including toys, cosmetics and household products.
