Louise obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science and Master’s degree in Forensic Toxicology from Bournemouth University, where she mainly studied forensic and clinical aspects of toxicology. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the authentication and chemical analysis of lifestyle products and pharmaceuticals using spectroscopic techniques. On the other hand, her Master’s thesis focused on the LC-MS detection of drugs in biological fluids after skin penetration.
She joined Delphic HSE upon the completion of her studies, where she is mainly responsible for safety and regulatory aspects of cosmetic products. Her current duties involve hazard identification, hazard characterization and risk assessment. Louise is also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and London Toxicology Group.
