Profile: Mahmoud Ahmed

Mahmoud has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science (Pharmacology) as well as a Master’s Degree in Cheminformatics and Toxicology from the University of Galway. His Master’s focused on QSAR and expert-rule based combined cheminformatic approaches to predict endocrine disruption. He previously worked as a Junior Toxicologist for Lush Cosmetics and spent a short period as a QSAR research intern for ProtoQSAR in Valencia, Spain. Mahmoud joined the Toxicology team at Delphic HSE in April 2023 and his main responsibilities include the completion of toxicological profiles and risk assessments for cosmetic ingredients, as well as performing read across and QSAR assessments.
