Richard has over 15 years scientific research experience within regulatory toxicology, specializing in Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART). Richard has a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences obtained from the University of Coventry. Upon completion of his degree Richard joined Sequani Ltd as an Associate Toxicologist, specializing in Reproduction Toxicology.
From there he moved to Covance Laboratories Ltd as a Toxicology Study Director where he was responsible for developing and leading Developmental and Reproduction Toxicology Studies. In 2013 Richard joined Delphic HSE as a Toxicology Consultant, specializing in the production of Toxicological Risk Assessments for a variety of consumer products and the regulatory review of chemicals on a world-wide basis.
After a short initial spell with Delphic HSE Richard relocated and took up a role with a previous employer (Sequani Ltd) where he quickly progressed from Senior Toxicologist to Principal Toxicologist. In 2017 Richard returned to Delphic HSE as their European manager. He is a European Registered Toxicologist, as well as Secretary of the European Teratology Society (ETS) and an editorial Board Member for the Journal of Reproductive Toxicology.
