Troy has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds and a MSc in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham, where he studied a broad range of toxicological subjects including the molecular mechanisms of toxicity, clinical toxicology, forensic toxicology and ecotoxicology. His Master’s thesis focused on the toxicological effects of fertilisers on Daphnia magna utilising resurrection ecology.
He joined Delphic HSE after the completion of his studies in 2018 where his main responsibilities include the completion of toxicological profiles and risk assessments for cosmetic ingredients. Troy is also a member of the British Toxicology Society, The Royal Society of Biology and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
