Cliff Betton Sworn in as Deputy Mayor of Surrey Heath

We are proud to share that our Chairman and CEO, Cliff Betton, has been officially sworn in as Deputy Mayor of Surrey Heath this week.

The announcement was made during the Annual Meeting of Surrey Heath Borough Council on Wednesday 14 May 2025, where Cllr Louise Ashbery was also elected as the 53rd Mayor of Surrey Heath.

Cliff’s appointment is a testament to his continued commitment to public service and his passion for the local community. His new civic role will see him supporting the Mayor in various duties across the borough throughout the coming year.
