EU Referendum at Delphic HSE

Back to news

Following the results of the EU Referendum, I wanted to write to you with our position.

As a company representing the legal Responsible Person for a number of customers across the globe, covering a huge number of their products, our preference would have been to remain in the EU. Although, we’re not overly concerned by the vote to leave.

We have kept our relationships with organisations within the EU very much alive in case Britain were to leave, and we now look to continue to build on those relationships as usual. It is important not to have a knee-jerk reaction to the Brexit and wait until plans for the country have been announced. Negotiations alone could take the EU and parliament 2 years so we have plenty of time to act accordingly and within the rules that are yet to be set.

It is worth noting that Delphic are in a prime position to be kept abreast of the changes due to the number of staff we have across the globe. They are positioned on advisory bodies, committees and boards, and so we will know if any decisions are made that could affect your products and company. We can also confirm that the CPTA has released a statement to confirm the EU referendum result does not change UK cosmetic law  http://www.thefactsabout.co.uk/eu-referendum-outcome-does-not-change-uk-cosmetics-laws/news/99/318/

Delphic HSE are a company serving worldwide organisations and offering the EU compliant Responsible Person Service and we will continue to do so unhindered.

All the best,

Erica
