Andy obtained both his Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences and Master’s degree of Science in the Field of Food Safety and Toxicology from the University of Hong Kong. During his master, he has been working on the final laboratory project regarding the therapeutic benefits of traditional Chinese medicines in alleviating Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD).
Apart from his study, he has enriched himself through various internship experiences. He assisted quality assurance work at the production lines of snowy mooncakes at Tai Pan Bread & Cakes Company Limited. He also worked as a dietitian volunteer helper at Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital.
He is now working as a junior toxicologist in Delphic HSE, assisting the toxicological risk assessment of cosmetics and household products and toys.
