Profile: Angel Li

Angel obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Food Quality and Safety from Jinan University and Master’s degree in Food Safety and Toxicologist from the University of Hong Kong. During her undergraduate studies, she worked as a research assistant in Guangdong Institute of Microbiology, focusing on the isolation and characterization of Bacillus Cereus specific phage and expression of phage-specific endolysin. During her MSc Dissertation, she focused on the impact of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDC) on host metabolism, by analyzing gut microbiota in a DINP-exposed mouse model. Angel joined Delphic HSE as a Junior Toxicologist after graduating from her MSc programme, responsible for the safety assessment for cosmetics, toys and household products.
