Dr Lin Yang obtained B.S. degree in Pharmaceutical Science, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Biology from Peking University, and then joined as a fellow scientist in China National Centre for Food Safety Risk Assessment in 2013 in the field of persistent organic pollutants analysis, human exposomics, and China’s total diet studies, specially focused on prenatal exposure, chemical placental transfer, and related health impacts. Lin joined Delphic HSE in 2016 and currently work as the Manager, Head of Toxicology Standards, with extensive experience in Toxicological Risk Assessment for cosmetics, toys, and household products, leading global projects, developing new services, planning strategy, drafting technical guidelines and organising staff trainings. Lin leads team work on Toxicological profiling and database development, academic collaboration, and technical support. Lin also serves as Programme Coordinator for the “Research Talent Hub” Programme funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong SAR Government, leading the R&D activities in NAMs, NGRA, HoSU, WoE, QSAR/Read Across, Inhalation modelling and inhalation safety assessment, AI tools for Toxicology application etc. Lin is a Member of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB), a Member of the Chinese Society of Toxicology (MCST), the UK Registered Toxicologist (UKRT), European Registered Toxicologist (ERT), Diplomate of American Board of Toxicology (DABT), and Diplomate of Chinese Society of Toxicology (DCST).
