Sebastian obtained his bachelor’s degree in forensic science from Keele university, followed by an MSc in Analytical Toxicology from King’s College London. His academic and research experiences have provided him with various training in a range of analytical techniques.
During his undergraduate studies, Sebastian led a final year research project focused on identifying cases of fish fraud using LC-QTOF MS, where he developed a novel analytical workflow. As part of his MSc, he also undertook a research placement at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH), where he investigated microplastic exposure in honey using samples from the National Honey Monitoring Scheme and Micro FTIR spectroscopy.
Sebastian joined Delphic HSE in June 2025 as a Junior Toxicologist and his main responsibility is to prepare toxicological profiles for ingredients and assess the safety of finished cosmetic products.
