Xin obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering from the ZhengZhou University of Light Industry, followed by a Master’s degree in Food Safety and Toxicology from the University of Hong Kong. During her undergraduate program, Xin participated in the third and fourth China Undergraduate Life Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest (CULSIEC) working on the detection of Penicillium and Alternaria spp. by Dual-PCR, and extraction of Flavonoids and Polysaccharides from okra using the aqueous two-phase system. Her Master’s thesis focused on the analysis of heavy metals in dried mushrooms using ICP-MS.
Xin Joined Delphic HSE in November 2021 after completion of her study, where her main responsibility is assisting the toxicological risk assessment on cosmetics ready-to-import to China.
